heres the question- i used to have piano lessons but i quit because i found it so embarrassing that i was crap at sight reading! i couldnt improve!
but i want to take up lessons again in september – do you think i should cram music theory into my head and start some intensive sight reading practice?!!?!?
i think its a good idea, but my dad doesnt…

yes thanks i know that lessons are for learning. its just that i could see my piano teacher getting impatient when i couldnt tell which notes i was supposed to be playing

You’re right about AA’BC, it started off as AA’BB’ but then it changed. Thank you for the clear up. You’re both also right about the grace notes thanks a million. I used the dominant at bar 4 and it sounds great! Thank you.
I ave this piece recorded but i don’t know how to put it up for people to listen to it. If someone tells me, I’ll be glad to post it!
