Mozart doing a little recital at the fun class she did with Dad in San Jose, California when she was five . Her teacher from China taught a thorough keyboard-based method that included singing, solfege, rhythm, ear training, sight reading, music theory, music history and composition. Here she chose to play “Old Blue” and “Sunbeams” in May 2006. Her passion is composition/ improvisation, so we have switched to a great jazz piano teacher who teaches world wide over the internet. We will be getting more videos up documenting her progress on piano as we roam the world!

lioness asked: I am really bad at sight reading and am looking for a book that will help me improve because my sight reading is almost non existent
It takes me forever to get through a sheet of music and i end up having to rely on remembering the pattern of where my fingers move on the piano
I was looking for a software at first but most of them need a Keyboard and i don’t have one. So looking for a good book that starts at beginner and works up. I really need something that will help build confidence and is easy to understand.
Also would be great if book teaches how to sight read intervals : ).
It will also help ALOT if i can get a torrent to download the book but if not that’s ok just let me know of the best working sight reading piano books out there : )
