the only RCM test i have taken is grade 3 piano, about four years ago. in between i have played pieces of higher level, some grade eight pieces, i want to become a music therapist which requires theory and passing the grade 8 test. i have been practicing casually for a few months, and my test is in six months. so far i can play my four pieces (not perfectly) and i am not that good at the scales and stuff, pretty bad at sight reading and im just looking at the studies pieces,
honestly is it realistic for me to pass the grade eight test in december with a good mark? how intensley would i need to practice?

my scales didn’t go that well and one of my pieces was out of tune. my sight reading was alright and most of the oral was too.
what’s the lowest mark i might have got?
