I just need a few pretty difficult pieces to practice my sight reading. I have played cello for 4 years. I can play things such as a few of the popper etudes, music by Bach and others.
Thank you very much

    Hmm…. some difficult pieces are
-Paganini’s variations on one string (beautiful and very technically challenging)
-allegro appassionato by saint-saens (a little less of both)
-saint saens- elegie (try the book “Great Solos”)
-have you ever heard of the Duport etudes? or the Franchome intermediate etudes? they may suit you well
    -brahms sonata in A minor
    -browse other sonatas
-cesar franck’s sonata in A major (beeeeeautiful)
    -chopin polonaise brilliante

you can try some simpler concertos, like the Romberg or the Boccherini or the Haydn C major

what a beautiful instrument. we’re so lucky. *sigh*
