Does anybody know of a site that teaches you how to read music? We’ve been using solfege in choir but I want to try to make all-state choir and want to be on my a-game.

It is best to get live help. They can stop and re explain when things go wrong, and they will.

The website Kab mentions will get you off to a good start. If you are using solfege, that’s great, but in the US teachers tend to use the “moveable do” system that really doesn’t help your reading ability very much… Great for your ear just not all that helpful for your sight reading because “do” can be any note.

Check out the links below for more help.

Good luck with your all-sate audition… I know you can do it!
