LiTTLE MiSS SUNSHiNE ♥{ORiGiNAL} asked:

In a few weeks I’ll be audtioning for the Junior South East District, a choral program in my area for middle school and highschool students. Im in the eighth grade, I’ve been in my school’s chorus since the fifth grade and I play guitar and some piano so I have knowlage of music etc.

I’ll be audtioning as a soprano. There’s a song you have to sing, and then sight reading.

Generally speaking I have a pretty voice, but not a talented singer’s voice. When I’m playing my guitar or just singing to the radio for fun it sounds good, but I’m not as good at formal singing. I’m able to stay on key and sight read well but I can’t seem to project my voice to make it sound strong enough.

Tips..Help?

On your O’s and your Aw’s create a yawn feeling, that makes it sound better, and it projects it. Dont be nervous, I’m sure you’ll do great. : )
